New to the blogger world!

I have *almost* survived my first year of teaching!  As the year is winding down, I find myself searching thousands of blogs and pinterest pins to prepare for next year!  I feel like I'll be SO much more prepared next year, and I'm excited to start organizing things.  This year, it seems as if everything is everywhere and I can't wait to get everything straight and organized.  I plan on blogging a little bit and even creating a few worksheets that I'd like to share with the few people who venture over to view my blog!  

Next year, our theme is safari/jungle theme.  If anybody has any great ideas, please comment!  I'll update often to show off what I've made so far.  

The first thing on my to-do list this summer- get my bookshelf organized.  Apparently, there is an app on the Iphone where you can scan the barcode of the book and it will automatically get all the information and save it to your bookshelf.  

Second on my to-do list is PLANS!  I want all plans finished this summer- at least roughly sketched out.  Because of the upcoming common core, I also plan on making each student their own folder of skills- so they can keep up with that skills they have mastered, and which ones they need more work on.  I'll post pictures when I get that organized.  

Only a few weeks left until school is out for the summer- and I'll be busy as a bee working to get things in order for a successful 2nd year!  :)
